  1. after black king to a3 and white king to c3 what if the black king moves to a4 ?

  2. 3:10 Kb3, rb4, and Ka3 allows the queen to stop the rook without stalemate

  3. isnt 3:05 the rook sacrifice not a winning end game for white since white just can run to the left and be fine?

  4. Nice puzzle. At first I thought it was a black win but I did solve it correctly.

  5. Looking up that pawn and rook pattern to find this study, I found an interesting one by Tigran Gorgiev, Schakend Nederland 1966-1967 (published January 1967), 3rd commendation (number 806 in the magazine EG, so that should be a very early issue). Maybe you want to look at that one, I can imagine our heroes could enjoy it.

  6. And in the words of Jonah
which now I hold in high regard
you never know who your friends are!
-The Hooters, "You never know who your friends are"

  7. "It's a real thing"? No! It's a nice story, but of course it has nothing to do with reality. The Bible is a good book, but not everything in it is true.

  8. ๐“œ๐“ป. ๐“ข๐“น๐“ช๐“ฌ๐“ฎ says:

I thought Rf4 would also win, am I wrong? When they make a queen, you get a check and it could lead to a potential mate.

  9. At 4:40, is there anything actually wrong with a8=Q+ ? I calculated Kb6 Qb8+ Kc6 Rxc2 Rc1 Qxb2 and it seems like white is winning, just not as quickly as the line you showed.

  10. Congrats on 300k subs. Your such a good chess youtuber โคโคโค

  11. For anyone wondering, I've played the position on 2:45 if Qc3+ for 50 moves, but it's a perpetual check, but not checkmate

  12. Dear my beloved chess vibes, CONGRATULATIONS ON 300K๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰ seriously, I am loving this series, keep it going๐Ÿ˜Šโค

  13. MARTIN CHALLENGE: You can only take Martin's pieces if they're attacked twice, or your pieces are cautious and will only move to take a piece if they'll end up defended in that square.

  14. Of course you can live in a whale. Havent you guy seven seen pinnocio?

  15. Challenge: no time to think. The moment you play your first move ,the rest of the game you'll have no time to think about a move you play it immediately (sorry for bad English, not my first language),I hope you understand the challenge๐Ÿ˜…

  16. If you play this rigtht, you end up with a white Queen against a black Rook. Not easy…

  17. Hey Nelson, love your site. Jonah wasn't swallowed by a whale, he was swallowed by a "greeat fish". whales eat plankton and have throats the size no bigger than a minnow.

  18. Since they're on an island, I guess Bobby and the other Fischermen won't be meeting up with Stockfishus Giganticus.

Christopher Moore has written a funnier story about people getting swallowed by a whale.

The first move for the next puzzle appears to be the amazing 1. Ba1!

  19. These are awesome make more pls

  20. The book of Jonah describes a fish. Whales are not fish, they're mammals.

  21. 0:58 one of you has a phone that has a chess engine. Use that.

  22. Hm… Let me guess what's on the other island…

    A chess puzzle, maybe?

    Nah, I don't think so.
