Well, I was close. I picked Qa3 . . .
The most impressive might be that Nunn could just have gone safe catching the Queen with Bd2. Shows he had the calculation down from the start. We can all see that there are possibilities for white on the dark squares, bringing our Queen in – but to calculate to the end.. 👍

This was unsolvable for me. Thanks for the analysis
Igota deal of it but not all so happy that the great John Nunn is a world champion again. Thanks Daniel and keep up the good work.
What about Hb7? Isn't that winning as well?
What about Qb7 if back plays Rc1 then 1) Qb8 Rc8 or Bc8 2) Qxe5 or black plays Rd8 then 1) Qc7. or else if Be6 then 1) Qe7
nice guitar is that a gibson 335 or epiphone ,if its a gibson be carefull leaning that against the wall as the headstock is weak on gibsons coz of the 16 degree angle , nice puzzle i never get em though 🙂
Black still has a chance by offering a draw or faking a heart attack.
But John Nunn lost his round 8 game against former Senior World Champion, GM Jens Kristiansen, Danmark! He out-combined himself!
Nice finesses 😀
Got Qb6 right away, but followed up with Qd6, overlooking Qa5. Thanks for the puzzle.
