  1. Amazing.I wonder whether there is a single person who can really find the solution without the aid of an engine.

  2. B4 pawn, move it, move bishop to release queen and eat the pawn

  3. This is the first one of your puzzles that I actually figured out from start to finish!

  4. New achievement unlocked: How did we get here

  5. Dude why should we capture c4 before capturing the rook?
    The rook was already undefended

  6. Nelson why couldn't we lose a tempo with the king

  7. Good counting leading in victory.

  8. Couldn't you just move the king so that the queen has to move?

  9. before watching the solution i assume you should move the pawn to h3 first instead of h4
edit: i watched the video, turns out i was right, very cool that i solved a puzzle for a position that is impossible to get in
edit 2: didn't see the other pawn though…

  10. H3 or H4 it doesn't matter. You can simply move the king when the knight is threatening the rook then Black is forced to move his queen and you win
    .

  11. What about moving the king???? To make the queen move

  12. 3:55 in that play, you can move you're king to F2, if the opponent put the queen back into A1 chekmate, but if it loose a tempo pushing pawn to C4 you take it with the knight then (when queens move back to A1 and then A2) you put knight back into A5 and then move the king to E1 and then chekmate, i think about that

  13. I solved it with a queen and bro said i cant checkmate with queen

  14. Black_Achievment unlocked- How did we get here.

  15. Why couldn't you just promote to a queen then kill their queen when it was forced to move into your rage?

  16. Wow I had this exact position a few games back.. The next time i get this position, i will win for sure!

  17. but If you play h4 and your stuck with the queen covering the rook, couldnโ€™t you just play a king move so that the only move that black can play is putting back his queen so then you can checkmate by taking the rook? for me it make sense

  18. Can someone better at chess explain me why you can't just move your king if you move the pawn by 2 squares on the first move?

  19. Isnโ€™t It Possible To Do THE SAME THING With A Queen?

  20. After white moves, move black pawn from E3 to E4 to make space for the rock!! White has no chance to win here.

  21. Why not take the pawn on d3 and not the b3 move ?

  22. Canโ€™t you make a random king move when you get the knight on the square that threatens the rook?

  23. Nelson the first potion just move the king to get the queen to move

  24. Moving the pawn to h3 instead of h4 was some insane calculation

  25. But if the king simply moved to f2, it would lose a tempo and there will be no need for all of those tricks

  26. 4:59 Why cant we move the king? and if you say because they'll promote you can just take the promoted pawn on the next move

  27. This isn't about finding yourself in the position lol. Excellent thorough explanation ty so much Nelson, agreed fascinating

  28. Actually white can move the king to lose the tempos!!!

  29. I solve this puzzle because i heard about smothern checkmate yesterday so when I see king canot move i say to move pawn and promote to a knight and is easy to checkmate but I don't see knight is black undefended and i say to push pawn to sqaures because i am just learning chess i said to promote to knight but didn't understand other theories

  30. Fun puzzle … but the situation will never happen in a real game!

  31. In the first puzzle I think you make a queen then move the queen to h6 then take the ruke

  32. And when you realize you can just move your king

  33. "8/8/8/2p5/1pp5/brpp4/qpprpK1P/1nkbn3 w – – 0 1"
It would be great if you could always include position to load like this ๐Ÿ™‚
