Wat is en passant
Day 2 of watching chess videos and i am already interested in playing.
Number 8 is the definition of “If you see a checkmate, look for a better one.”
What about BxA5 on puzzle 2?
14:33 tou can see the king dose not have to be in check mate it can move diagonally.
For the last one I thought the punchline is you're gonna throw your queen on top, in the cage with the black king lol
How many legal configurations of a chess board exist? How many different states can the board be in through normal play?
6:30 why not just capture the rook?
puzzle 6 has great humiliation factor 🥰
Thanks man I appreciate you’re work and style!
The last one is stunning
Is that Ben Fingold's book? Does he also teach you how to cry like a grandmaster?
I literally just solved the last one in my club YouTube's taking over the world
in puzzle 3 why wouldn't pawn take rook after rook takes b6 bishop?
2nd puzzle Kc2
6:34 such a fantastic move 🤣🤣
Why didn't you take a white rook with black ♟️
the third puzzle is a worst example, very stupid, just place the car beside the horse, all solve
13:51 I found it it's sooooooooo funny that I needed to play against computer
i am a 1000 and i found checkmate in idk how many moves on the greatest king chase in history (took me about 7 minutes to see)
You can also do knight to c2 on the second one
puzze 1 – pawn to e6 solves the black position, so black is winning anyway
Just out of curiosity, in the second one, when you move the rook to d2 (3:26), the threat becomes knight to c2, checkmate. But white knight to d4 would prevent it, wouldnt it? I played chess when i was younger but right now i’m just hoping to be corrected by someone that knows more than me (which wont be hard to find… 😅)
In #3, can’t black simply take the Rook on b6?
I looked at the thumbnail. It was easy, but unorthodox with the fact that you promote the pawn to a knight
Should have called the second-to-last, "Five Knights at Freddie's."
6:06 real?
Black can't have 100 queens nobody can ok. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🙌🙌👍👍😁😁👌👌😊😊
The first puzzle show why you shouldn't play with your food.
For puzzle 2, 1. Qe2 sets up the pawn mate or a ladder mate but there’s 1 move for white to prevent them without also losing any material. Curious if anyone can spot it.
And these are great Nelson.
6:25 why isnt pawn takes rook on g2 ?
P x J 7
in puzzle three, why didn't you take the rook with the a2 pawn when its so clearly vulnerable?
I would’ve went knight d3 and then blocked the promotion square with the knight and then move the rook out
Where is the one from the thumbnail?
In puzzle 2, isn’t it possible to play Nc2?
Edit: Nvm I didn’t see the rook
im confused on puzzle one. the pawn near the knight could move up and kill it when it tries to checkmate right?
crazy stuff ♟️🏳️
For the first puzzle it’s super easy to counter white’s knight. Just move the pawn from E5 to E6. It defends the location that checkmate and the pawn is simultaneously defended by the knight above.
i dont get it why cant you just take the rook in puzzle 3
Puzzle 7 new name is knight world
I'll read the video later, but the one that is on the thumbnail is rather obvious … found it in less than half a second :))
in puzzle 3 why didn't black took the rook with the pawn when the bishop was taken?
I can’t remember the game but I remember watching puzzle 3
Puzzle5 took g5 move breh
That's why gm or any high lvl players resign
The last one is fantastic… Imagine you think ok mate in one and already preparing for the next game and some one start this sequence and givin you hope that he didn't see the mate in one and start blundering pieces… And you think YES what a dummy start fighting backand and then ending in this cage and getting mate!
Emotional Damage
In puzzle 3… why not just take the rook once he takes your bishop? I’m lower rated player 800 so i don’t really understand the point of not getting his rook off the board after you sac yours
#6 is needs some Yakety Sax in the background.
Nakamura would like #7
