9:46 after bb6, can someone refute …ne5! 2. bd4 kf8! I agree that bh6 is an easy win though.
Beautiful knight checkmate problem is, in the first move if you promote the pawn on b7 you can still checkmate him
1:58 Qc7?
But what if king h7 (10:00)?
At 9:53, knight to e5 is a draw right? You canโt take knight because you lose pawn and canโt move pawn because of black king
4:16 why not e5 then take the pawn. If he make a queen then go f7 and boom u won
1:56 can't you just like, you know, queen c7?! what he gonna do eat backwards with pawn?
At 12:32 you could take the queen with the queen with the only way that black would avoid a checkmate is by taking it with their queen allowing you you to take his second queen. After that it is two rooks against a knight, because if he moves his rooks then you can progress the other pieces. If I have that wrong then I apologize but the way I was playing it out in my head seemed like it is plausible to win as white.
i saw the thumbnail and remembered the dv saws and oh how I wept
On the last puzzle instead moving that pawn forward canโt we force checkmate with queen checks?
On the second example, the king can move to h7
1:56 queen d8??
GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT
or always think that the one you should play promotes at the top ๐คทโโ๏ธ
How did the white pons got past the black in puzzle 1 to get even get to that starting position?
the gd community is something else
In number 3 can't black just move the rook to h8?
2second puzzle black night has fork
Pawn a7 takes queen bruh so easy
Hi GD Reddit itโs me Iโm the one who posted the image of the first puzzle there
i imagine not knowing about gd and being soo confused about all the devil vortex comments
This was an awesome watch! Thorough explanations but not so deep in the weeds that as a beginner I canโt keep up
13:53 why not take the white queen with black king?
What about queen takes instead of rook takes c5 on 12:33? Forcing him to either move his king and loose the queen or trade queens which means no checkmate?
I always remember white square on my right when setting up the chessboard.
After you play Knight to F4, what if the black pawn on G3 takes the F4 knight?

9:50 don't you just lose? Ne5 and he attacks your pawn, you cant advance pawn because black king just takes, you can't take the knight with white king because black king again just takes the pawn
this can't possibly be a legal position right?
How king got there in the first place ๐
Baby problem
puzzle 3 you can trade your queen instead of the rook 12:31
9:42 "Bishop to H6 will do the job": what am I missing here? Because it seems the king can just take the bishop without any consequences there, and promoting the pawn to a queen doesn't yield any obvious (to me, at least) check mate either…
1:59 Isnโt Qc7 mate?
IM CALLING IT, 2 HORSES MATE
For the record, I got first puzzle right from the thumbnail, and I didnโt quite reach the mate, but I saw the pattern
P.S. What if you take the queen in the position at 14:24? Is there still black mate?
4:17 Ne5 d8=q Nf7+ kg5-6 Nxd1?
black can folk with knight in puzzle no 2? Right ?
how did the black pawns get behind the white pawns
If it's real board, sometimes people set white on g and h.
3:11 can't those pawns take that knight?
push right pawn and make a queen, black is forced to move to the left which then you push the other pawn and turn it into a bishop or queen and black has no legal moves
5:11 you make a bishop
thanks for this, was in this position yesterday
At 8:00, can't black simply move the king to e7 to cover the knight's advance?
Only I noticed that u can mate in the 3rd one?
Well number 1 is an impossible position
In the last puzzle i still think White has a 1% chance of winning the game, there is a move at E4 where the rook can be captured
You might work on your pacing, I had to speed the video up.
1:55 Isnt queen c7 mate?-
